About Elmacast
The foundry was established in 1956 and predominantly served the electrical motor industry suppling castings for motor casings. Over the years the foundry shifted its focus to supply products for the mining, agriculture, automobile and cement industries.
ELMACAST (PTY) LTD, a proud ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified company now specialises in a variety of ferrous metal alloy castings focusing specifically on Mineral Processing Components (Mill liners, Inserts, Crusher Segments, Blow bars etc.), ground engaging tools and high wear products such as slurry pump casings, impellers and valves. We serve a wide and demanding customer spectrum within the Mining, Cement and Power Generation Industries. With our vast knowledge and experience in the casting of Ferrous metal alloys, we can offer custom fit solutions to our clients.
With the latest upgrades to our facilities the foundry can now produce 450 tons of castings per month in various Ferrous metal alloys and grades. The metallurgical laboratory on site offers a full range of testing and analysis to guarantee the quality of our final products, according to customer specifications.
